Frequently asked questions

What ages do you take?

From 12 months to 3 years, in two rooms: Wobblers from 12 to 24 months and Twos from 2 to 3 years. We don't take children younger than 12 months.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We're closed on weekends and on a few holidays through the year.

Is the center licensed?

Yes. OCFS, New York's state agency, licenses the center. The license number is at the bottom of every page.

Which languages do you speak?

English in both rooms. Shivani and Dhwani also speak Hindi with families, and Dhwani speaks Gujarati.

How does tuition work?

It depends on the room, the days a week you choose and whether you need the full week or part of it. Shivani gives you the figures in writing at the tour.

Can my child come part of the week?

Yes. Besides the full week, there is a three-day schedule (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and a two-day schedule (Tuesday and Thursday). Ask at the tour which have places.

I commute to Albany. Will the hours work?

The doors open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm. If your train or drive runs late, call and tell us; we'll talk it through in person at pickup.

What happens when my child turns three?

The Twos room is the last at Wobble. When your child is close to three, Shivani talks with you about preschools nearby and what the move looks like.

What if my child is sick?

We ask that your child stay home with a fever, vomiting or diarrhea, and come back after a full day without symptoms.

Can I see the center before I decide?

Yes. Book a tour and bring your child. It takes about half an hour and you can ask anything.

Would you like to see the rooms?

Come to a tour with your child, or call and tell us which days you need.
